About
plantspipe is an independent website about growing houseplants. For every plant we publish one complete care guide and short, direct answers to the problems people run into most: yellow leaves, brown tips, drooping, pests, watering, light, repotting and propagation.
Who we are
We are a small independent team of houseplant enthusiasts. We started plantspipe because good plant advice is scattered across forums and long blog posts, and when a plant looks wrong you want a clear answer quickly: what is happening, why, and what to do now.
What you will find here
- Plant pages with a care card for each plant: light, watering, humidity, temperature, soil, feeding, size and whether it is toxic to cats and dogs.
- Complete care guides that cover one plant from start to finish.
- Problem articles that start with the answer, then help you find the cause and fix it step by step.
Browse all plants in the Plants A–Z index or search for a plant or a symptom.
Where our information comes from
We rely on botanical gardens, university extension services, the ASPCA and established horticultural publications. The sources of every article are listed at its end, and each article shows when it was last updated. Pet safety is only stated when the ASPCA or a veterinary source confirms it. Read more in how we write our guides.
How the site is funded
plantspipe is free to read and is supported by advertising. Advertisers have no influence on what we write or recommend.
